Sri Utama Installation Day !

Venue: SMK Sri Utama
Time: 9.30am-2.00pm
Theme: Heal The World
Event: Installation/ Stepping Up/ Stepping Down Ceremony of SMK Sri Utama
Fees: RM5
Members who attended: HSL Kar Men ; ASL: Denise, Jia Min, Jo Ee, Kai Boon ; Kah Meng
Transportation: Pn. Chang K. F. & Aunty Christine ( HSL's mummy )

(they also had a sing-along-session on this song that moved many hearts)

The ceremony started off with the introduction speeches conducted by the ex-HSL Evelyn and the respectible teachers. After that, they played a nostalgic slideshow giving reminisces of the past activities and the past year installation ceremony. It was then followed up by the mind blowing performances such as diabolo by students ranging from 13 yrs-17yrs, 3 duet singing by the talented awesome BSM singers of BSMM SL (Y) 208 and a traditional and elegant zapin dance- by the students of SMK Sri Utama. Next, came a few fun challenging games coordinated by the new BODs of the school of host ( ASL Jo Ee got WET here btw! ). Then, we were served a lunch buffet of many great dishes. The ceremony continued with a sing along session, a mini dancefloor and a limbo bimbo . They ended the installation day with the sovenior giving ceremony and lastly, a photography session.
Today's installation has opened the minds and eyes of we, who were present. We had fun and the form threes had learned and were inspired, enthusiastic and eager to experience a grander, greater and more publicize installation organised by them next year!

Really, it was a pleasure to meet amiable Red Crescent Knights from different schools in Petaling.
Congratulations to the newly installed BODs of 2009/2010 and all the best!
